Walter Yarwood (1917-1996) was a Canadian abstract painter and sculptor, a founding member of Painters Eleven who later abandoned painting for welded steel sculpture. Born Toronto; studied commercial art at Western Technical School, though he considered himself largely self-taught as a painter. Earl
