Marcel Dzama (b. 1974, Winnipeg) is known for fantastical pen-and-ink drawings featuring human figures, animals, and hybrid creatures rendered in watercolour and root-beer syrup. Co-founded the Royal Art Lodge collective in Winnipeg (1996) while still at University of Manitoba. A 1996 house fire des
