Sonny Assu (Ligwiłda'xw of the Kwakwaka'wakw Nations) is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice merges Northwest Coast formline design with pop culture, digital media, and sculptural installation. Born in 1975 and raised in North Delta, BC, he discovered his heritage at age eight; this became th
